I took some photos of the cats today so everyone can see how big they are now..
Molly(the black and white kitty) got her rabies shot today and weighs almost 5 lbs. Maggie (the calico)is about the same weight. She is longer and a little skinner..Before long they won't be babies any more..Sigh

My 12 lb 4yo Maine Coon, Annie, who came to live w/ me when she was 16 weeks old, was a throw-away kitty.
The people who advertised her and adopted her out to me had her b/c friends of theirs had found her on the side of the road when she was just a few weeks old.
Oh, you beautiful dolls!! You may not quite be kittens anymore, but you are growing into lovely kitten-cats.

My peep and I read your story about the throw away kitten together. We both think it is very sad that some kittens get forever homes that are actually FOREEVER homes and some don't. And we're both glad we found each other.
The lady peep says perhaps the mother cat was moving her babies to a safer place and she just dropped the baby? I hope she's not really missing her baby.
Did you find out what happened to him/her? Did he get fat and happy?
If we didn't live so far away in Canada, I'd ask my mom if I could get a brother and get one of those ferrel kittens. But there's all kinds of rules and difficulties bringing pets across the border into Canada. My lady peep says there are other kitties up here in Canada that need homes too.
